Ezer Mizion's international bone marrow registry, the largest Jewish registry in the world, was founded in 1998 to fill a vital need of the global Jewish community. For a large segment of cancer patients- so many of them small children - the sole chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant. Ezer Mizion's historic partnership with the IDF has infused its registry with young healthy recruits of varied ethnic groups, greatly expediting DNA matching for Jewish cancer patients the world over. Over 1,770 transplants have been facilitated by Ezer Mizion, 303 in 2014 alone. Many lives have been saved but many are still waiting.
