I wanted to tell you, from the depths of my heart –
THANK YOU!
For the mothers’ support group, which gave us a tremendous amount of strength to cope with our challenge, professional tools and techniques, and deeper awareness of our emotions. All of this found immediate expression both in our understanding and our conduct. Our home literally changed for the better!
Thank you so much,
A. C.

To all those involved, the wonderful people of chessed and deeds,
I wanted to thank you so much for your initiative in organizing a support group for mothers coping with tough challenges, who don’t know where to turn or to whom they can pour out their heart and talk out their concerns.
The support group contributed a great deal to me.
May Hashem pay you your just reward and shower you with an abundance of good. May you have a wonderful new year, a year of health, redemption, and a full measure of joy.

A Letter Meant for You, Our Dear Friends and Supporters

pr mental illness flower MB900445658Dear Ezer Mizion administration,
Shalom!
I am the mother of a girl with high-functioning ASD and I participated in a support group for mothers, organized by your venerable organization. The group was led by Ms. Tichyeh Posen and Ms. Miriam Sarfaty, who, with each succeeding session, managed to give me and the other group members important tools and much emotional support.
Warm connections formed among the women in the group, based on our mutual openness and sharing of various experiences. We felt as if we had finally arrived at a place where people speak our language and understand us, even without words.
I cannot begin to describe the tremendous benefit I derived from these sessions. Every week, I returned home with renewed strength, new insights, and a “kitbag of provisions” to carry me through another few weeks of struggle.
May you be divinely blessed for your amazing work and justly rewarded for the warm and beneficial assistance that you so generously provide the public,
With deep appreciation,
My dear Orit,
Seeing your name on my ID screen was like a ray of light for me. In the middle of the raucous day, I knew that an island of tranquility, acceptance and release awaited me in the form of a group session that you, in your great dedication, made sure would work out just right.
Thank you and thank you again. May Hashem pay you your well-deserved reward!

Dear Ezer Mizion administration,
Shalom!
My name is Chana and for the last few months, I participated in the support group for mothers of children with ASD.
First of all, I want to thank you for the amazing support group you organized for us.
Ms. Tichyeh Posen and Ms. Miriam Sarfaty are two angels in the guise of humans. The understanding, attention, empathy, caring, information, professionalism, and feeling of “togetherness” that they projected is a great and powerful thing, truly one of a kind. They really did it in the absolutely best way possible.
We had sessions that were special, moving, breathtaking, elevating, packed with practical tools. Some sessions were sad… but all were very good and empowering. And every one of them was too short and finished too quickly… Please, if it is at all possible, I beg of you to organize for us a follow-up course with the group that started off together, because we have a lot more to learn and to hear from Ms. Posen and Ms. Sarfaty and we really need them.
I would like to add a special note of thanks to Orit, the devoted secretary, for her determination and dedication in passing on the messages to each one of us, without forgetting or missing anyone.
Thanking you in advance,
Chana

Dear Ezer Mizion administration,
Shalom!
I just completed a support group/guidance series for parents of children with communication disorders (ASD).
The group took place once every week or two or three or monthly. It didn’t make a difference how frequently – I always waited for it eagerly and accumulated more and more questions and situations to bring up at the group for a solution.
It was a fantastic group! Though it was comprised of parents of children with different kinds of problems, ages, and opinions, this did not bother us in the least.
On the contrary! It was even more enlightening and beneficial!
We supported one another, were helped by one another, and all with openness and full validation.
I cannot begin to thank you for the opportunity to participate in this group.
For the wonderful group leaders, Tichyeh and Miriam, who have hearts broad enough to accept all our emotions and difficulties. I felt that they were really with us, giving each one their full attention, and boosting our inner strength.
I sincerely request that we continue on with this group, so that together, we can build and strengthen ourselves yet further.
I applaud you, Ezer Mizion, and encourage you to continue operating these groups. It is an absolute must for mothers caring for challenging children such as these, who need a place where they can share, express themselves, and get encouraging spiritual “pats on the back” as I did.
Many, many thanks,
and with hope for a continuation,
C. S.
P.S. I would like to give particular mention to Orit, the wonderful “secretary,” who did her job seriously and responsibly. If not for her, the group would not have gotten off the ground. Thank you!

Dear Ezer Mizion administration,
Shalom!
Words cannot express my gratitude for the privilege I was granted to take part in your course for mothers of children with ASD, under the leadership of the unique and wonderful Ms. Tichyeh Posen and the exceptional professional guidance of Ms. Miriam. They contributed to us much valuable information and equipped us with practical suggestions and marvelous tools we can use in our everyday life dealing with these children.
May Hashem shower you with much blessing so that you can continue helping families facing a variety of challenges.
May you merit to give them optimal advice and assistance to help them in their struggle.
In addition, we would be thrilled (!) if you could extend the course for another few sessions so that we can discuss topics that we did not have a chance to address for lack of time. These topics are very important for us as parents.
May Hashem give you your just reward!

With appreciation and admiration,
Members of the course for mothers of ASD children
