"Drums Alive" Aerobics for Cancer Patients (10/10)
There are a lot of people who would like to give of their time and talents, volunteering on behalf of the ill and handicapped.
All too often, however, their occupations and day to day responsibilities cause them to defer this volunteering again and again.
Special commendation is due to Noam Tur, "Survival" champion for the second year running, and his trainer, Yael Nir.
The two come every month - never missing even a single time - to volunteer at Oranit, Ezer Mizion's Guest Home for children with cancer.
Noam and Yael lead fun aerobic exercise groups for the cancer patients and their families, using the "Drums Alive" technique.
"Drums Alive" is an activity that involves rhythmic drumbeat movements on giant balls. This innovative, new aerobic exercise is invigorating and relaxing. It has produced unprecedented benefits for overall health, and is considered the sport of the New Age by doctors and health experts.
