Police Force Officially Adopts Ezer Mizion (07/10)
The Command Corps of Israel Police's Community Division and the Civil Guard paid a visit to Ezer Mizion. Division Head, Major General Yoram Levi, presented Rabbi Chananya Chollak, International Chairman of Ezer Mizion, a certificate declaring the partnership between Ezer Mizion and the Israeli Police Force, and the Police Force's readiness to continue assisting the exemplary work of Ezer Mizion whenever requested.

The certificate read:

"The Command Corps of the Police Community Division and the Civil Guard is proud to adopt Ezer Mizion and assist however possible in its important activities. Ezer Mizion, which has taken as its motto, "We are there when it hurts," serves as an example and a paragon of the volunteer spirit, selfless assistance and compassion for all citizens of the country."

Also participating in the official visit were Lieutenant Major Chaim Krimka and Mr. Alex Yakobi, both dedicated friends of Ezer Mizion who get the credit for long years of activity on behalf of the ill in Israel. 

Police assistance to Ezer Mizion over the years includes a variety of activities, such as:  Community and Police Days geared for the special needs population; assistance in "making dreams come true" - small/big dreams of sick children who ask to "join" the police force for a day; assistance in the areas of traffic and parking for mobility impaired children and adults; lectures; presentation of police prizes that bring immeasurable joy to these children; explanations in any necessary police related area, and many more, assorted activities.

Rabbi Chananya Chollak discussed the organization's activities and repeatedly mentioned the strong, positive and effective bond between Ezer Mizion and the police, for which he expressed deep appreciation.

Rabbi Chollak applauded the Command Corps and the Civil Guard, headed by Major General Yoram Levi, for their decision to make the bond official and provide the organization with a single address for its requests.

Major General Yoram Levi thanked Rabbi Chollak and Ezer Mizion for their wonderful activities, emphasized their ethical contribution to society, and stressed the desire of the police force to assist the organization however possible, via the Community Division and the Civil Guard.

At the conclusion of the moving visit, the guests were given a tour of the Ezer Mizion Center, in which they were exposed to the wide range of Ezer Mizion's activities.
