Ezer Mizion was declared a Superbrand by the International Superbrand Organization which, for over a decade now, has identified companies and managers that have proven their excellence in over 70 countries.

Sponsored by the Israel Marketing Union, Superbrand began operating in Israel in cooperation with The Marker and Tel Aviv University. Forum Publishing Company, publisher of Forum Marketing newspaper and organizer of Israel's "Product of the Year" competition, is in charge of related Superbrand social activities.

Superbrand staff, assisted by external bodies, compiled a list of 2,300 of the most prominent brand names in Israel. These included local or international brands from all areas of manufacturing, production, industry and services. Brands do not apply to enter the competition, are not nominated and do not pay any charge for being part of the process.

An independent panel of 100 judges, headed by Prof. Jacob Hornik from Tel Aviv University, and including company directors and industrial experts, researched and graded all the contenders.  

670 brands that were ranked in the top spots moved on to the consumer level, which was conducted by Market Watch, a market and consumer opinion survey company that is affiliated with the international Synovate survey firm. 800 consumers then voted on their chosen Superbrands. The prize winning Superbrands will be invited to join the Israeli Superbrands Club which will publish the Superbrands Israel guide book; conduct professional meetings and events, and produce a film titled 'The Oscar of Branding'.
