In an effort to enhance parenting skills and to raise parental awareness about potential problems and disorders, Ezer Mizion branches have launched various programs:

The Bnei Brak branch has initiated a Child Development Lecture Series in conjunction with the Schneider Children's Medical Center. The first session featured Dr. D. Inbar, Director of the Institute for the Development of the Child at the Schneider Center, who spoke about "Child Development - Stages and Warning Signals." Dr. N. Naor, director of the Division for Premature Births at Schneider discussed "Developmental Milestones, and Difficulties of Treating Preemies" and Dr. M. Keren, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, spoke about "Eating and Eating Disorders among Pre-School Children." The evening focused on the importance of not ignoring problems, which may have a long-term impact.

The Jerusalem branch has begun a series of weekly workshops for parents of children suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Given by professional counselor Batsheva Cohen, the program is aimed at helping parents understand the child's world and providing tools to cope on a daily basis.
