"Once a year I miss my Mom and Dad - but the whole year,
I miss Ezer Mizion's Summer Camp!"

With these words, Aaron summed up the summer sleep-away camp for teens and young adults with special needs, where he spent a grand time, enjoying an array of fun experiences and attractions, and was showered with warmth and love by the dedicated one-on-one volunteer counselors.

The sleep-away summer camps for children and young adults with special needs that took place in Netanya and Petach Tikvah have ended, and the day camps in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are also over.

For the children who participated, it was a once a year opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities that brought sheer enjoyment to their body and soul - activities which are out of reach most of the year because of their physical or mental/emotional handicaps.

For families of the special children, it was an opportunity to take a much needed break from the non-stop care of these children, a few days during which they could rally strength, enjoy a care-free vacation, and devote time to themselves and to the other children in the family.
