Lag Ba'omer Parade for Children with Special Needs (05/09)
Dozens of children from Ezer Mizion's Beit Chana Activity Clubs for special needs children, accompanied by their enthusiastic one-on-one volunteer counselors, participated in a special Lag Ba'omer parade.
The parade set out from the Ezer Mizion's Jacob Fried Building and proceeded towards a local school, which generously designated space in their yard for the group to light a bonfire.
The children and their volunteers watched from a safe distance as the bonfire was lit and then danced and sang around it. A lively team of darbuka drummers came to enhance the joyous atmosphere.
A festive outdoor barbecue supper topped off the exciting experience, one which the children shall long remember.
