| As the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crashed alongside the exquisite home of Mira Nakash in Belle Harbor, NY, friends and neighbors streamed to the 7th Annual Concert Under The Stars to benefit Ezer Mizion.
The crowd cheered in pride at the announcement that the Belle Harbor Community Personalized Bone Marrow Donor Pool has saved the lives of four cancer patients, with several more potential transplants pending.
Guests were invited to sing along with the famed entertainer, Yaakov Lemmer, whose repertoire ranges from A Yiddishe Mama to Hatikva to Ole Solo Mio.
As the notes faded into the night and the guests bid goodbye to one another, a feeling of satisfaction pervaded the air. Once again the Belle Harbor community has joined together to save Jewish lives. |
