Netivot Does Not Forget the Ill - Even on Erev Pesach! (04/12)
Just a week before Pesach, Ezer Mizion volunteers held a kumzitz, with guitar and drum accompaniment, for a 20 year old boy with brain stem cancer, who is due to begin treatments shortly after Pesach.

A large number of boys dropped their Pesach preparations in order to help cheer up the ailing boy. The joy they generated hit the heights. The boys danced and sang until the wee hours of the night, without a stop.

The parents tearfully pointed out that it was a long time since they saw any trace of a smile on the son's face. Now, they were amazed and moved to see him sing, laugh and even dance, in spite of the paralysis that had set into one arm and leg.

The kumsitz took place at the home of Ms. Chanie Koznitz, dedicated Ezer Mizion branch secretary, and was accompanied by a tasty Melaveh Malkah spread, generously contributed by the local pizza shop.
