| "Words cannot describe what goes on in a place like this when so many women come together to pray for their recovery and for the health of their loved ones," Mrs.Blumie Willner, Project Director
A prayer saturated with deep emotion was held at the grave of Rachel Imeinu a"h by a group of sixty women. Some of the women are themselves cancer patients, while others poured out their hearts in prayer on behalf of sick family members. Tears flowed freely as the women pleaded for restoration to good health.
The women were so overcome that they almost refused to leave the holy site, as they beseeched from the depths of their heart for their health or that of their loved ones, all suffering from cancer.
The prayer session took place soon after Rachel Imeinu's yahrzeit, as part of Ezer Mizion's Yad Yehudis Chana Cancer Support Services, in memory of Rebbetzin Judy Kalatsky a"h.
Following the session of heartfelt prayers, the women participated in a special meal. Chananya Chollak, International Chairman of Ezer Mizion, infused them with words of encouragement and hope.
"These women know so much pain and suffering," says Mrs. Willner, Project Director. "Words cannot describe the moving prayer of these mothers, emerging from the depths of their hearts. Alongside the enormous support and assistance provided by Ezer Mizion, it was important for us to give them this unique opportunity to release the pain they hold inside and plead with Hashem for the redemption and recovery."
The women returned home invigorated and empowered to continue coping with their difficult challenges, armed with staunch faith and the hope for a full and speedy recovery. |
