All year they had battled cancer and, at this crucial time of year, they pleaded with Heaven that they be cured and be able to return to childhood.

In keeping with the mood of the season, the children were taken on a nighttime tour of Jerusalem.

After a walking tour in the Nachla'ot area and through Jerusalem's winding lanes, they arrived at the Kotel, their young voices joining those of their elders in moving prayer.

May their sweet, heartfelt prayers be answered together with those of all Jews the world over and may their dream of recovery come true in the new year.
