Redtail is an exclusive (only 70 members) golf club, located outside of London, Ontario in Port Stanley. It is one of Canada's best rated courses and has hosted some very prestigious golf tournaments in the past.

Great weather and excellent spirits accompanied the golfers as they headed out to benefit Ezer Mizion's Cancer Support Services Mentoring Program project. This program is designed to help build a strong inner core in children struggling with the serious illness of a sibling or parent and in pediatric cancer patients themselves.

Modeled after Ezer Mizion's highly successful Terror Orphan Program (TOP) mentoring project, which the golf event sponsored for many years, the Cancer Support Services aim to develop a personalized mentoring and support program for each child. The secure relationship a child has always had with his parents becomes unpredictable when medical needs must take priority.

In this mentoring program, a select staff of professionals and trained mentors work with the individual child and the family unit. The project's goal is to restore a sense of security and stability which creates emotional support. The project provides essential coping tools for dealing with life threatening illness.

Ezer Mizion feels tremendous gratitude to Arthur Stern who, once again, masterfully coordinated the event and created a uniquely exhilarating atmosphere with his fun-loving nature and deep commitment to Ezer Mizion.

The golfers take pride in partnering with Pnina Friedman, director of Ezer Mizion's Social Services Department, and her staff in their efforts to infuse hope and strength in these children and families.
