| In honor of Shavuot, Ezer Mizion served festive dairy brunches in central Israel hospitals, in order to bring the sweet taste and spirit of Shavuot to hospital wards as well.
On the days when Jewish families all over were busy planning and organizing the celebration of Shavuot with family and close friends, dozens of other families were stationed in hospitals alongside their ill relatives. Their only concern was how to get through the day without a crisis.
Ezer Mizion surprised hospital patients and their families with a rich dairy buffet and salad bar in honor of the holiday. The spread sweetened - if only for a few moments - the time that sometimes seem to stand still in the dreary hospital venue. Hospital staff, with whom Ezer Mizion is in constant contact in a joint mission to provide assistance and support to patients, also enjoyed the tasty break from routine... A large number of volunteers were drafted to wheel the delicacy wagons through the various wards and wish one and all a Chag Same'ach. |
