Vacation. A chance to "recharge our batteries", to step out of our routine, and to draw energy for the days to come. For those whose "routine" is defined by medical tests, treatments, and hospital stays, vacation is not a luxury. It is an absolute necessity to change gears - even for a few days - from pain and fear, into a few blessed moments of joy and fun.
This year, Ezer Mizion will once again be running summer camps for over 1,200 children with special needs and for 160 children and parents with cancer and their families (over 900 participants). The Summer Camp Project is one of the annual highlights of the ongoing activities Ezer Mizion arranges for these children and their families. The camps include one-on-one volunteer counselors, exciting activities, performances by top level Israeli entertainers and visits to a wide variety of attractions across the country, under full medical supervision.
