Over Pesach, Ezer Mizion's "Hakallah" Respite program provided home hospitality for close to fifty special-needs youngsters from all parts of Israel, many of them wheelchair bound.
Ezer Mizion's Hakallah Respite program hires, trains and supervises families in the care and hosting of special needs children. Dozens of Respite families hosted these youngsters for Pesach - some for as long as 10 days. This provided their parents with a rare and welcome reprieve from the burden of constant care, enabled them to prepare for the holiday and to enjoy quality time with the rest of their family.
