Gabe* is a young man who suffers from a debilitating anxiety disorder. For years, he has avoided all social contact, cutting himself off from society.
When he first came to Ezer Mizion's Rehabilitative Employment Center, Gabe refused to sit in the same room as the other people working at the Center. At first, the directors of the Center gave Gabe his own room to work in. Later, however, they moved another person into the room with him. Gabe slowly got used to being around the people at the Center until he was finally comfortable working in the same room as everyone else.
Gabe has not fully recovered, but with the help of the Ezer Mizion Rehabilitative Employment Center, he has learned to interact normally with others. For Gabe, this is a remarkable breakthrough.
