For the past 20 years, Mrs. Drora Harif has been an outstanding example of dedication in her role as a volunteer at Ezer Mizion’s Holon branch.
Drora has been visiting the sick in hospitals twice each week and been involved every Thursday in food distribution to companions of hospitalized patients and families where a member is hospitalized or seriously ill.
Every winter she has knitted at least three hundred caps for the elderly who are cared for in the Holon area.
Harif, who is also the regional director of the Israel Alzheimer’s Association, never ceases to amaze us with her energy, creativity and devotion.
Whenever a staff member can’t come, or when a volunteer’s slot needs to be filled, or when something urgent like medication has to be delivered in the middle of the night, she is always there, ready to help with all her heart.
This time at Ezer Mizion we succeeded in surprising her with a celebration in honor of her 80th birthday at the Holon branch.
The entire Ezer Mizion “family” sends Drora our warmest wishes that she be blessed with the resources to carry on her chessed activities for many more happy and healthy years to come!
